Young people today are the face of the world tomorrow and our hearts' desire is for them to be rooted and grounded in the Word of God, to get encouraged and also encourage, and to grow together in the faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Since 2020 the youth group have have been meeting online; once in a while, for special events, they meet in person.

Our youth group meetings are currently run by one of the couples at our church. Our desire is to help young people to live holy and devoted to God. During the youth group meetings, they spend time together in the Scriptures, the Holy Bible, to see the youngsters' eyes enlightened and to know and grow in the knowledge of what it means to have hope when belonging to Jesus Christ, a hope that anchors them and encourages them to never cease trusting God's Word. Our desire for the young people is to lead a successful life and take decisions that will lead to good results. We want them to be able to openly speak about issues that concern their lives, and to leave each meeting encouraged and uplifted.

We believe that children are an important part of God’s kingdom, and we are passionate about equipping them for life and encouraging and supporting our families. During Sunday church meetings we create a safe and fun place for them in our child-friendly groups.

As we meet at an open school, we are usually not the only people inside the building and on the school grounds, so we urge parents to never leave their children out of sight during (and after) the meeting should they choose for their children not to attend the Sunday school classes. Children under 2 stay with their mothers, or the mums are welcome to join the youngest group with them. If you don't know where the Sunday school rooms are, you can ask one of the adults who take the children to their Sunday school classes.

We run three different Sunday school groups:

Group 1: 3 to 5-year olds
Group 2: school years 1, 2 & 3 (ca. 6 to 9-year olds)
Group 3: school years 4, 5 & 6 (ca. 10 to 16-year olds)

In each Sunday school group we have DBS checked dedicated Sunday school teachers (most of whom still have their own children attend one of the groups). All our teachers put their heart and soul into the work that they do as we all believe that God is already at work in these precious young ones. In our Sunday school classes the younger groups tend to look at different Bible events, while the oldest group (Group 3) is often challenged and encouraged in how to face daily-life situations in confidence in a living God. We pray together, sing songs, read the Bible, play games, and apart from learning together, have fun!

We also meet about half an hour before the main meeting starts on a Sunday morning. Anyone who would like to join, or who would like to share a prayer request within a small safe group is welcome to join! For more information, please do contact us.

A House Group, is a small group of between 4-15 people, who regularly meet in a familiar atmosphere of a home, or lately also virtually. These groups provide an excellent way of getting to know the Lord Jesus and also others. They are friendly places in which good fellowship and fun can also be shared. When Christians get together, we call that “fellowship”. The word means much more than just saying hello at a meeting every week, or having a cup of tea every so often; fellowship means, amongst others, to share or part-take in what Jesus has done for us and to also share in each others' lives and to support everyone in the group. It is a very precious and valuable part of church family life.

Why attend a House Group?

Some of the purposes a House Group serves are:

• learning together what it means to follow Jesus Christ,
• finding out together the significance of what we read in the Bible in our daily lives,
• personal exchange of experiences,
• a place to ask questions, share joy and pain, and pray for each other and for others,
• helping each other in practical ways,
• finding out gifts given to individuals, learning to practice them in the small context, encouraging each other in them, and learning to share them with more people.
