Our Story
We are a non-denominational charismatic church that began in early 1970's as part of the “house church” movement, in the home of Dr Tony Waterson in Queens Road, Richmond. At that time, our congregation was called "Queens Road Christian Fellowship".
As the church grew, we moved to a school in Kew for many years and changed our name to "Church of the Living God" in around 1988.
We now meet at Orleans Park School, Richmond Road, Twickenham, where we have been since 2016.

Interested in Visiting?
What to expect
Yes, you can. If you come within the first half hour of the beginning of our service, usually someone will be outside to greet you and you are welcome to sit anywhere you wish; there are no reserved seats.
The main meeting starts at 10:30am with our praise team leading the congregation in song & worship. You can join in or just listen.
Following this special time of praise & worship, there is a short time of announcements and offering. (We take a collection to allow especially church members to contribute financially, but we do not expect visitors to give.)
Once announcements are made, we usually send the children into their Sunday school classes, not releasing them without a prayer of blessing.
The main part of the meeting consists of either our pastor, a guest speaker, or other church members bringing a message.
Our services last about 1 hour to 1 1/4 hours.
We do not have a church building but we are located in a school. When you arrive, ushers in high visibility jackets will direct you to the Sports Hall in the Attenborough Building. There are also signs to point you in the right direction to our meeting place. The sports hall is located in the ground floor of Attenborough building.
We also use additional rooms in the same building for Sunday School meetings, etc.
Please be aware that Orleans Park school is also used by a number of other people doing sports, chess clubs and a "School of rock".
We tend to serve communion once a month.
The access to the building caters for disabled people and there are disabled toilet facilities.
There are two car parks, so in the majority of cases parking should not be an issue.
The meeting runs from 10:30 am to 12:15 pm approx.
After the service from 12:15 am to 12:45 pm tea and coffee and snacks are provided in a canteen area.
There is no dress code. Some people are dressed more formally than others, but there is no requirement. Everyone is welcome.
There is a Sunday School facility that runs from about 11:00 am to about 12:10 pm. The Sunday School caters for kids from 6 months to 13 years. Parents or guardians will be asked to sign a consent form giving contact information and a brief summary of any medical issues we need to be aware of.
We have a prayer meeting for those interested, which runs from 10:00 am to 10:25 am. We pray for healing once every two weeks.
We tend to take health and safety, security, safeguarding and fire safety seriously, so there may be checks done from time to time. These are primarily internal procedures to protect everyone and hopefully prevents unnecessary incidents from happening.
We live stream and record our services and meetings. You can find recorded audio and video services here.
